Let me tell you the story of a man and his creator. God created Adam and put him in charge of his beautiful garden and the creatures of the earth.
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. Genesis 2:15 NKJV
Then God made a woman whom Adam chose to be his partner. (Genesis 2:18-23)
I believe God was in the habit of visiting with Adam and Eve in the garden.
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:8-9 NKJV
We see in the passage above that God was looking for them while on this walk, this shows us that he had a relationship with them. God walking with people normally suggests closeness, intimacy and fellowship.
I'm telling you this story to draw your attention to the fact that God wants a relationship with you, even more than you want one with him. We see proof of this through God's relationship with Adam and Eve.
The next question would be how to build a relationship with God. You can do this through spending time studying the word of God and praying. It's important you do this personally and also corporately.
Today I’ll be laying emphasis on the importance of corporate gatherings of believers.
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV
Our bible tells us not to forsake gathering with our brothers and sisters in christ, but to consider one another and stir up love and good works in each other.
We at the Gospel Revealed gather together once a month at STIR, to worship our father and fellowship with him.
Stir is a meeting of believer’s on fire! We draw strength through prayer, and gain clarity in God's word. We also build stamina in fellowship with fellow believers.

At stir we are stirred up in word, prayer and songs by the spirit of God!
