Have you ever wondered what the whole point of life is? I mean, we wake up every day and go through a certain routine at different points in life.
Whether you’re in school or you have a job, your life seems to have taken a certain routine, and you find yourself asking, what is the point of it all?

Have you ever wondered what the whole point of life is? I mean, we wake up every day and go through a certain routine at different points in life.
Whether you’re in school or you have a job, your life seems to have taken a certain routine, and you find yourself asking, what is the point of it all?
You’re working towards a goal, and you know that as the days go on, you're closer to your goals, and when you achieve those goals, you set new ones and pursue those, all to what end? When does it all stop?
And then you are reminded that one day all of this will end, and as humans, it all ends in death for us, or does it?
Have you ever wondered about the concept of life after this world? Or do you think there’s nothing on the other side? Or maybe you haven’t even given that thought?
I’m not here to scare you, so I’ll tell you now that there are answers to these questions that may or may not have been plaguing you. You might have just been looking in all the wrong places.
We go through life planning for the next steps we take in this world. I think if there is really life after we leave this earth, then it’s worth preparing for.
Before you continue reading, I want you to know that most of my thoughts and convictions are drawn from the Bible, and if you think it’s not an accurate means of drawing conclusions or data, I believe you should start reading from here
Let me tell you the story of a man who once walked this earth. This man tried to tell everyone he met that he was the way, the only way to God.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6 NKJV
(If you’re thinking, “Who says there is a God?” please start reading from here and return to this article when you’re done❤️)
Many people believed Jesus because there was tangible proof of his claims. However, there were some people who didn’t believe him and were not happy that many people believed what he said.
They plotted against him and succeeded in putting him to death. (Read Matthew 26 and 27)
They thought they had won, but unfortunately for them, they were only helping in bringing a much bigger plan than they could imagine; a plan that had been in play even before the foundations of the world, to pass!
You see, this man died and was buried, and they even laid a heavy stone to seal his tomb and kept guards watch over his grave just to ensure his body wasn’t stolen.
But guess what, not even death could hold him down, how much more than a stone and a couple of soldiers? So you can already tell there is something special about this man.
You see, he is the only man who left this world through another means that isn’t death.
“Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:9-11 NKJV
Stay with me. I haven’t forgotten why you’re here and the questions you have that still need answering.
Now, why am I telling you about this man called Jesus? It’s because if he indeed died (which he did, and I can prove that), and he rose again but left this world, then there is more to this world than we know. And who better to tell us about it than someone who actually defied the laws of this world?
"No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven." (John 3:13, NKJV)
I want you to concentrate and read these next verses over and over again.
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go, you know, and the way you know." (John 14:1-4, NKJV)
What you just read is what Jesus said to his disciples. This was long before his death, and I'm sure many of them didn't fully understand what he was saying until they saw him ascend.
He was already telling them of a life after the one here! And do you know the best part? He said in him they have security and assurance in the world to come!
So, now we know there is life after death because the only person who defied death said so!
Now is not the time to fear or be panicked because the whole purpose of my telling you this story is to tell you that Jesus loves you! It's the very reason why he came into this world to die. How do I know this?
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:16-17, NKJV)
Isn't this the best news ever? We see that out of his love for us, God came in the form of the man Jesus, and died so that all those who believe in him may not die but have everlasting life.
The death spoken of here is not the physical death every human must experience on this earth, but it points to the assurance we have in Christ of a life after we die, and he says then we will have everlasting life!
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?'" (John 11:25-26, NKJV)
In the verse above, Jesus said these words to Lazarus' sister after Lazarus had been dead for days. He talks about living even after death!
I want you to know that Jesus loves you, and he wants to save you! If that is all you take from this today, that's all that matters.
All you have to do is believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and you're saved. It's really that simple.
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9, NKJV)
Confess this with me: "I believe that God came to this world in the form of Jesus because He loves me. He died, was buried, and He rose again just so I can be saved."
